The Role
Vauban is looking for a motivated and dynamic Intern to join our Investor Relations team for a six‑month internship. The Investor Relations team is responsible for fundraising and capital formation, managing investor relationships, communications, and driving our growth. The Investor Relations is structured around four key project lines: Fundraising, Client Servicing (incl. reporting & investor’s queries), Marketing and External Communications & Investors’ Event Management.
As an Investor Relations Intern, you will report directly to the Head of the Team and support the Investor Relations team in various facets of our operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in completing due diligence questionnaires and creating bespoke presentations for prospective investors in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
- Maintain and update qualitative and quantitative data in the due diligence database (i.e., track record).
- Contribute to quarterly reports and ad hoc investor deliverables in collaboration with investment and operations teams.
- Support the timely preparation of responses to investor queries.
- Design compelling marketing and fund presentation materials. Conduct market research, competition analysis, and track fundraising trends. Update and refine existing marketing documents.
- Coordinate with Vauban’s external press agency on communication strategies. Create and manage content for LinkedIn and the company website. Assist in planning and executing investor‑focused events throughout the year.
Required Skills & Profile
- Education : Master’s degree from a top business school or university (Finance specialization preferred).
- Language Skills : Native‑level or bilingual proficiency in English; French is a plus but not required.
- Technical Skills : Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience : End‑of‑course internship. Strong interest in finance, private equity, and infrastructure industries; prior experience is a plus.
- Soft Skills :
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Highly organized, disciplined, detail‑oriented, and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
