Your Role And Responsibilities
Within the Group, you will join the Group Internal Audit team. Group Internal Audit monitors and reviews the effectiveness of the internal control and risk management framework operated within the Group and directs the global internal audit teams to achieve its objectives of independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of risk management, internal control, and governance processes. The Corporate Centre team performs internal audit reviews of the Corporate Centre and coordinates transversal reviews performed worldwide by local internal audit teams and occasionally conducts audit missions or investigations in other parts of the Group.
What You’ll Do
- Participate in audit missions or special assignments (covering topics such as Finance, Communication, Human Resources, Risk Management, Legal, and Compliance):
- Assess risk management through the analysis of business processes and existing internal control mechanisms: conduct interviews, perform and analyse tests, validate results, and draft analysis sheets and reports.
- Formulate recommendations to correct identified deficiencies and improve the effectiveness of internal control mechanisms.
- Preparation of quarterly reports sent to AXA’s executive committee members.
- Support in the animation of Finance & Risk auditor communities comprising over 220 members for the former and 100 for the latter.
- Contribute to the coordination of cross‑functional audits conducted by local internal audit teams.
- Ad‑hoc tasks based on the occasional needs allocated to the team.
Your Profile
- A serious candidate, able to demonstrate an interest/appetite for financial services and who has an understanding of both internal audit, its mission and challenges, as well as the challenges and specificities of insurance.
- A sharp analytical and synthesis mind, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels, up to the top management of the group.
- Exemplary professional behaviour, adaptability, curiosity, and a strong willingness to learn.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken (minimum TOEIC score of 900 or TOEFL score of 105).
- A very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Your Profile (Student)
- Student in a Master’s program at a business school, engineering school, or university with a specialization or focus in finance/audit.
- A first experience in an audit and consulting firm, within the central or operational functions of an insurer, a bank, or an asset manager would be highly valued.
- A first academic or professional experience abroad would also be appreciated.
- Available in July 2026.
