[INTERNSHIP] HR Generalist W/M
Micropep is building more sustainable agriculture for future generations. We develop natural crop protection solutions based on the incredible potential of micropeptides, small natural protein molecules capable of targeting and regulating plant genes and proteins.
Founded in 2016, Micropep is a spin-off from the LRSV (Laboratory for Plant Science Research), a research laboratory of the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and the University of Toulouse, recognized as a center of excellence in AgriTech.
To date, Micropep has raised nearly $60 million from leading European and American investors and began expanding into the United States in 2022.

Contract: internship - 6 months
The Role
As part of our growth and organizational development, we are looking for an HR Generalist Intern to work directly with the HR Director on a broad range of HR topics.
This internship offers a comprehensive and hands-on exposure to the HR function in a dynamic, international, and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the HR Director, you will contribute to a variety of HR activities with a strong generalist focus.
HR Administration
- Drafting employment contracts, amendments, and HR correspondence
- Managing and updating employee files
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes
- Updating HR dashboards and reports
Recruitment
- Defining hiring needs with managers
- Writing and posting job and internship descriptions
- Conducting initial phone screenings
- Organizing and participating in interviews
- Monitoring candidate pipelines and improving the candidate experience
HR Processes & Structure
- Mapping existing HR processes
- Formalizing and improving procedures
- Updating HR documentation
- Supporting regulatory compliance initiatives
HR Projects
- Participating in cross-functional HR projects (HR tools, onboarding, employer branding, etc.)
- Supporting the harmonization of HR practices between French and US entities
- Assisting with internal communication initiatives
Profile
- Master’s student in Human Resources, Labor Law, or Business School with an HR specialization
- Strong interest in a generalist HR role including recruitment
- Strong organizational skills, discretion, and autonomy
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a structured mindset
- Professional English required (international environment)
- Fluent French mandatory
