Internship - Financial Controller - October 2026

We are looking for our next Financial Controller intern as of October 1st at our AXA Headquarters! Location: 25 avenue Matignon, 8th arrondissement Paris.

Your Role And Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Participate in tasks related to calculation and compliance of the global minimum tax (OECD Pillar 2): simulation work, data collection and analysis, accuracy checks, coordination with entities, and oversight in establishing processes for tracking notifications.
• Review tax appendices for the annual report as part of the FY2026 closing process.
• Monitor and control activities to be conducted in the Galaxy tool, which tracks the Group's participations.
• Contribute to tax transparency outputs: analysis of CbCR (Country by Country Reporting), the AXA Group's transparency report, and various questionnaires.
• Complete various tasks for the team such as PowerPoint presentations, information research, and organization.

Required Skills

• Good proficiency in the Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI) and mastery of databases.
• Strong interest in data analysis and formalization, including the use of data analysis tools.
• Interest in finance in general (accounting, consolidation under IFRS standards, and taxation).
• Strong motivation, autonomy, and ability to take initiative.
• Good communication skills and ability to integrate into a team.

Your Profile

• Last year of Business School, Engineering School, or University, or a gap year.
• Previous experience in finance or data analysis is a plus.
• Fluent in French and English – daily professional use of English.
