OVRSEA is a next-generation multimodal freight forwarder committed to simplifying and optimizing international freight management through technology. They coordinate the transports of more than 700 companies across 60 countries, providing their clients with a unique platform that allows teams to manage shipments simply and transparently. With 120 employees globally, we are continuing our growth in 2026 and hiring people internationally!

The Finance Team

We offer a formative internship at the heart of the financial engine of a fast‑growing company. Accompanied by our founder and CFO, VP Finance, and FP&A manager, you will undertake a variety of operational and analytical missions, as well as large‑scale projects.

Your role

Management control, reporting, business analysis (50%)

• Updating monthly financial reports (P&L, BS, and CF) for all OVRSEA entities to the executive committee and shareholders.
• Financial planning: elaborating quarterly forecasts and budgets.
• Elaborating the company’s financial communication (external board preparations, internal all‑hands meetings).
• Building processes to achieve perfect accuracy and automate manual tasks.
• Ad‑hoc strategic finance – competition benchmarking and sector analysis.

Accounting and Operational Finance (30%)

• Involvement in accounting processes (e.g., reconciliation, cutoff).
• Implementation of new financial processes.

Business partner, especially with HR and Sales (20%)

• Working on other projects for OVRSEA, such as analysis of recruitment processes.
• Ensuring optimal interaction with other departments and advocating OVRSEA culture.

Requirements

• Master student from a top business or engineering school, majoring in finance, business analytics, or a related area.
• Native or fluent French speaker with a good level of English.
• Curious about financial controlling and comfortable with figures and databases.
• Fast‑learner, able to work on multiple topics simultaneously.
• Serious, with a true professional ethic.
• Autonomous and highly motivated to join a startup transforming the international transport sector.
• Prior experience in a startup or finance is a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience with ERP (e.g., Pigment) or BI tools (e.g., Metabase, Power BI) is a plus but not mandatory.
