Position and Missions
You are joining our Alternative Credit Structuring team, which is looking for an intern for a period of 6 months from November 2026.
Within the Corporate and Investment Banking division (Global Markets), The Alternative Credit group is involved in structuring illiquid credit assets to design financing, investment and risk transfer solutions for an institutional clientele composed of banks, insurers and funds.
The intern will support the European team of Alternative Credit Structuring, and in particular the activities carried out by the Paris office. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior destructurers in Paris, while enjoying exposure within a truly international team covering clients across Europe and the US.
In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:
- Help structure the team’s operations: marketing and production of presentation materials, portfolio analysis, economic and risk analysis, legal aspects, and execution;
- Assist in the modeling of credit portfolios taking into account structuring parameters: credit analysis, optimization, cash flow modeling (cash-flows, programming in VBA and/or Python);
- Managing portfolio operations (book): improving existing models and monitoring tools, producing monthly reports, and monitoring operations (calculation of structuring fees, simulations, etc.);
Joining our team will allow you to grow within a dynamic, experienced and fast-growing environment. As part of your duties, you will work in an international context where you will be required to interact with all the parties involved in a transaction. This experience will offer you the opportunity to develop in-depth technical skills on structured products as well as on the various professions in synergy with the Alternative Credit team. In addition, you will strengthen your knowledge about the underlying companies seeking financing, their markets and sectors of activity, while actively developing your internal network within Global Markets between Paris and London
