Job Overview
Position: International Key Account Manager – RentalLocation: Ancenis, France (hybrid remote work with expected business travel)Contract: Permanent
Responsibilities
- Participate in defining and deploying commercial strategies with Management.
- Prospect for new clients and retain existing accounts.
- Analyze customer needs and respond to requests for proposals (RFPs/Tenders).
- Ensure the integrity of the order book by aligning customer demands with production planning.
- Account for the Group’s profitability requirements from the initial offer through to delivery.
- Coordinate contract reviews and guarantee customer payments.
- Engage in cross‑functional projects.
- Support key account sales representatives in subsidiaries during local negotiations.
- Organize the presentation of new projects, products, and services during launch phases in coordination with marketing.
- Anticipate customer needs and participate in sales forecasting processes.
- Act as guarantor of Manitou’s performance level for major accounts.
- Propose and deploy action plans with internal stakeholders to improve performance indicators.
- Negotiate, deploy, and coordinate master agreements (contrats cadre).
- Involve subsidiaries (Managing Directors and Rental Sales Managers) in negotiations and contract monitoring to safeguard country operating income.
- Participate in trade shows and customer events.
- Contribute to product and range evolution through marketing meetings and represent the customer voice.
- Provide sales and product training to customers.
- Conduct competitive intelligence.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Business or Engineering.
- Significant experience in international sales of industrial equipment or services.
- Expertise in key‑account negotiation with large‑scale commercial agreements.
- Strong technical curiosity to master machinery range and integrate financing solutions, spare parts, and connected services.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Spanish or Italian is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and cross‑functional team skills.
- Rigorous, service‑oriented, and resilient, able to handle pressure and transform challenges into opportunities.
