International Bid & Transport Project Engineer

AMEA Region & International Zone is looking for an International Bid & Transport Project Engineer to be based in headquarters (Issy Les Moulineaux, France). You will report to the Senior Vice President in charge of Asia, Middle East & Africa. Because we operate a wide range of transportation modes (Metro, Commuter Trains, LRT/Tramways, Bus Rapid Transit, Buses, Coaches, ferries, etc.) and are established in 19 countries across five continents, everywhere we are we aspire to promote the initiative of our multicultural teams. Missions

  • Participate & answer to various market sounding (LRT & Tramways, Metro, Commuter Trains, (e)Bus / Bus Rapid Transit, etc.)
  • Understand & update competitive landscape & liaise as required with various stakeholders.
  • Analyse transport and mobility trends on targeted networks/countries with the support of demographics/mobility survey or operational ridership data.
  • Carry out studies on operational and contractual performance, supported by a data‑driven approach. Data could be collected and treated accurately in various streams: Network Design, Planning, Operations, Fleet Maintenance, Facilities Management.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of tenders and bids.
  • Be part of the strategy definition and planning of the proposal.
  • Analyse, study & summarise tender documents (PPP, O&M, Management Contracts, etc.)
  • Contribute to the preparation of administrative documentation for tenders (RFQ & RFP).
  • Compile technical information and prepare the technical report related to the evaluation criteria for the award of contracts.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the technical and economic documentation required covering various topics (HR, Operations, Maintenance, etc.)
  • Carry negotiations and procurement process with suppliers at tender (and for implementation phase)
  • Manage and supervise studies done by subcontractors (Scheduler, Bus Manufacturers, ITS Suppliers, Consultants, …)
  • Collaborate and steer technically work carried by Group Experts (Data Scientists, IT/ITS Group experts)
  • Collaborate with other departments of Transdev (Legal, Operations & Technical Support, HR, Finance, Ethics & Compliance, Insurance, etc.) and partners involved.
  • Support business development by conducting innovation benchmarking and collecting best practices within the group and the market when required.
  • Prepare notes, presentations on various topics as part of business development & internal governance processes.

Required Education and Experience

  • Degree in Engineering (Preferred)
  • Fluent English, a second language is a plus
