Internal Audit Manager EMEA – Automotive Business

Join our Global Risk & Assurance team and be part of strengthening governance, risk management, and internal controls across SKF Automotive.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual internal audit plan based on risk assessment.
• Lead and perform operational, financial, and compliance audits across the organization.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Support the development of audit methodology and tools.
• Coordinate with external auditors and other assurance providers.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and follow‑up actions.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management and the Audit & Sustainability Committee.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Several years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or financial control.
• Knowledge of internal control frameworks and risk management.
• Experience with digitalised audit tools and data analytics techniques.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Additional qualifications that are a plus:

• Additional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CISA, or equivalent.
• Experience from a consulting or advisory environment (e.g., audit firm or multinational company).

Additional Information

This position can be based at one of our preferred Automotive sites in EMEA, such as Airasca (Italy). We can also consider candidates based in Tudela (Spain), Saint‑Cyr‑sur‑Loire (France), or Gothenburg (Sweden).

We offer a flexible hybrid working model, with a local contract. Candidates must live within commuting distance of the relevant SKF Automotive site and be able to be on‑site several days per week.
