Your Mission

Working as part of the 3‑strong M&A team at head office, your main tasks will be as follows:

  • Review and analyze acquisition opportunities
  • Review presentation materials for Investment Committees (business cases, business plans and financial valuations)
  • Coordinate due diligence processes with internal and external stakeholders
  • Review legal documentation (LOI, SPA, other)
  • Monitor the successful implementation of the integration plan for recent acquisitions
  • Strategic analysis of market segments
  • Monitoring the performance of key competitors
  • Coordination of external studies/Power BI analyses with Sonepar International Services (SIS)
  • Occasionally, support the team in conducting ad‑hoc and specific analyses for the needs of the Group's General Management (CEO Office)
  • The tasks are likely to evolve according to your skills and your ability to manage subjects independently

Skills: The Toolbox You Bring

  • Following a business school or engineering school with Finance courses (master’s degree)
  • Working in English, both written and spoken, at a minimum level C1
  • Ideally having a first work experience (internship) in M&A, Transaction Services, controlling, audit or finance in general
  • Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; PowerBI is a plus
  • Rigorous and able to synthesize information
  • Keen to learn and adapt to a complex environment
  • A team player who can work in an international network with different cultures
