Your Mission
Working as part of the 3‑strong M&A team at head office, your main tasks will be as follows:
- Review and analyze acquisition opportunities
- Review presentation materials for Investment Committees (business cases, business plans and financial valuations)
- Coordinate due diligence processes with internal and external stakeholders
- Review legal documentation (LOI, SPA, other)
- Monitor the successful implementation of the integration plan for recent acquisitions
- Strategic analysis of market segments
- Monitoring the performance of key competitors
- Coordination of external studies/Power BI analyses with Sonepar International Services (SIS)
- Occasionally, support the team in conducting ad‑hoc and specific analyses for the needs of the Group's General Management (CEO Office)
- The tasks are likely to evolve according to your skills and your ability to manage subjects independently
Skills: The Toolbox You Bring
- Following a business school or engineering school with Finance courses (master’s degree)
- Working in English, both written and spoken, at a minimum level C1
- Ideally having a first work experience (internship) in M&A, Transaction Services, controlling, audit or finance in general
- Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; PowerBI is a plus
- Rigorous and able to synthesize information
- Keen to learn and adapt to a complex environment
- A team player who can work in an international network with different cultures
