Distribution Allianz Insurance (DAI) team was created to strengthen the position of Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI) in providing sustainable asset management solutions to Allianz / Allianz Investment Management (AIM). DAI operates as the central client interface function to Allianz / AIM for their own account assets. As an intern within DAI you will support the team in ensuring high‑quality service delivery to Allianz / AIM selected entities. This requires executing tasks in client relationships, operational account and project‑management, individually and collectively as part of a cross‑border team and functional organization. The internship is based in Paris and is for a duration of six months.
Responsibilities
- Support Account Managers in client‑facing activities, including meeting preparation, analysis, data sourcing and verification.
- Contribute to various team projects such as implementation of new managed mandates or funds across the asset‑management value chain, harmonisation of activities, coordination of new business activities, and handling ESG‑related topics.
- Assist in handling day‑to‑day client requests and business‑related activities in cooperation with team colleagues and other AllianzGI functions.
- Proactively suggest and implement tools to ease, automate and simplify team activities.
Qualifications
- Ongoing higher education in a French Master (bac+5) or equivalent, in business, economics, finance, engineering, or a related field.
- Enthusiasm to learn and contribute.
- Hands‑on mentality.
- Interest in bringing innovative ideas to concrete results.
- Proven competence in project management.
- Office365 mastery, especially on Excel.
- AI prompt mastery and willingness to share good practices with the team.
- Ability to use Microsoft Copilot, with a strong commitment to ethical and responsible AI practices.
- Proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken.
- Self‑motivation and commitment.
- Excellent relationship management, interpersonal and intercultural skills.
