Context
Join a leading European transmission system operator at the heart of one of France's flagship offshore wind projects. As Interface Engineer on the grid connection of a 600 MW offshore wind farm, you orchestrate the physical and technical interfaces between the wind farm producer, the client and its EPCI contractors delivering the offshore substation and the 225 kV subsea and underground export cable system. Based at La Defense, you own the interface management process end to end: responsibility matrices, interface registers, contractual deadlines and stakeholder alignment across a complex, multicultural project organisation.
You join at a decisive phase, as fabrication and installation packages mobilise and interface performance directly drives the connection schedule.
Role and Responsibilities
- Steer the interface management process across all project packages.
- Act as single point of contact for contractors and the producer.
- Maintain responsibility matrices, interface registers and interface sheets.
- Protect contractual interface deadlines under the EPCI contract.
- Lead interface meetings and deliver monthly interface reporting.
Profile
- 4+ years in interface engineering on large infrastructure projects.
- Hands-on operation of an interface management process.
- Technical culture in HV substations, offshore platforms or marine works.
- Strong coordination, negotiation and synthesis skills.
- English and French fully proficient (both mandatory).
