This position provides a lot of potential for growth in a young, dynamic firm. We are looking for a candidate patent attorney to join our team.

You will be assisting with both patent prosecution and litigation matters and will gain a tremendous amount of exposure and experience whilst sharpening your skill set.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent academic track record and strong written and verbal communication skills. A friendly, client‑facing disposition, strong work ethic and ambition are key. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is capable of handling constructive criticism and keen to grow and learn as much as possible.

• LLB Degree (compulsory)
• Looking to start or busy completing articles of clerkship (compulsory)
• Member of South African Intellectual Property Institute Law (SAIIPL) (preferable)
• 1-2 years of in-depth experience in intellectual property law (preferable)
• Masters degree in Intellectual Property law (preferable)
