We are looking for a candidate patent attorney to join our team. This position provides a lot of potential for growth in a young, dynamic firm.

Responsibilities

• Assist with both patent prosecution and litigation matters

Qualifications

• LLB Degree (compulsory)
• Looking to start or busy completing articles of clerkship (compulsory)
• Member of South African Intellectual Property Institute Law (SAIIPL) (preferable)
• 1-2 years of in-depth experience in intellectual property law (preferable)
• Masters degree in Intellectual Property law (preferable)

Requirements

Strong written and verbal communication skills, a friendly client‑facing disposition, strong work ethic and ambition, ability to handle constructive criticism and keen to grow and learn.
