Job Description

Location: Toulouse (Saint Martin), France. You will be part of a team that develops equipment for the flight control system. You will work on primary flight control actuators (servocontrols, electromechanical actuators, electro-hydrostatic actuators), cockpit controls, sensors, and backup equipment, aiming to ensure efficient digital synergy.

Your challenges

  • Plan, lead, and execute equipment integration activities using simulation and modeling for current and future aircraft.
  • Establish and implement modeling and simulation standards for flight control equipment suppliers.
  • Manage equipment models within system and aircraft models.
  • Adapt models for a dual application: the aircraft model and equipment simulation (to understand an in-service event, for example).
  • Plan, lead, and execute co-simulation activities to obtain mature equipment specifications for current and future aircraft.
  • Define and implement the upskilling plan for your colleagues.
  • Oversee outsourced activities.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
  • Expertise in simulation with Matlab, Simulink, Simscape, etc.
  • Specific interest and prior experience with hydro-mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Project management experience and strong communication skills.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Language skills: Advanced English, fluent French.
