INTEGRATION ANALYST/API ANALYST

• Gather and translate business capabilities and functional needs into clear API-based integration patterns, including backlog items (user stories, acceptance criteria, NFRs)
• Design API domain models, resources, and contracts aligned with DDD and modern standards (REST, GraphQL, gRPC, AsyncAPI, CloudEvents)
• Produce and maintain high-quality API documentation and specifications (business context, flows, schemas) and deliver developer-friendly contracts (OpenAPI/Swagger, GraphQL schemas, Protobuf, AsyncAPI specs)
• Partner with engineering teams during delivery to ensure design-to-implementation alignment, including API testing (Postman/Newman, contract testing, AI-generated test scenarios)
• Govern and optimize the API landscape by ensuring consistency/interoperability across multi-cloud environments, monitoring adoption and usage analytics, and leveraging AI/agentic workflows + MCP + A2A automation to improve discovery, design, and continuous innovation

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience as a Integration Analyst/API Analyst
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Strongbusiness analysis and product mindset: functional analysis, ability to simplify complexity, structured communication, and facilitation with stakeholders.
• Proven ability to translate business capabilitiesinto robustAPI designs, with solid mastery ofdomain/resource modelling (DDD, REST, event-driven design).
• Deep understanding of modern API standards and specifications:REST, GraphQL, gRPC, AsyncAPI, CloudEvents.
• Preferred experience withAPI management/gateways(Kong, Apigee, MuleSoft, Gravitee), integration tooling (iPaaS, Kafka/Pub/Sub, workflow automation), exposure toAI-driven integration/MCP/agentic/A2A automation, and familiarity withAgile/Scrumteams.
