Role Overview

The EssilorLuxottica Industrial Equipment Division (IED) is responsible for driving industrial business growth by delivering customer-focused, end-to-end integrated solutions across global markets, leveraging the capabilities of Satisloh, A&R, Faro, SCL, DAC, and Ultra Optics brands.

A successful candidate will join IED as an Implementation Manager to drive the successful delivery and deployment of Integrated Solutions at customer sites. In this role, you will own the execution of implementation projects from kickoff through go-live and stabilization, ensuring alignment between customer expectations, solution design, and operational readiness. Acting as the primary point of coordination, you will work closely with customers, support, product, and development teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high customer satisfaction.

This role is critical to the IED organization and the Satisloh Group product portfolio, ensuring that integrated solutions are deployed effectively, adopted successfully by customers, and deliver measurable operational value.

The scope of this role includes all IED software and system deployments, including Rx‑Universe, MES‑360, E‑Ticket, Smart Conveyor II (with Conveyor Routing), A&R SPC, KPI Dashboard, and future solutions as they are introduced.

Core Responsibilities

Implementation & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end implementation projects, including planning, configuration, deployment, go-live, and stabilization.
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and customer readiness to ensure successful project execution.
• Translate customer business requirements into technical implementation solutions.
• Provide regular status updates to customers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment.

Customer Onboarding & Adoption

• Lead customer onboarding activities for Integrated Solutions products.
• Deliver training for end users and customer IT teams.
• Provide documentation and guidance to support solution adoption and usage.
• Support deployment validation and post-go-live stabilization following releases and system changes.

Technical Implementation

• Configure and deploy Integrated Solutions software in customer environments.
• Identify and resolve implementation issues, coordinating with support and development teams as required.
• Maintain strong knowledge of software products, integrations, and customer system environments.
• Ensure compliance with data security, system integrity, and applicable standards.

Process & Collaboration

• Contribute to implementation procedures, templates, and knowledge base content.
• Drive continuous improvement of implementation processes based on lessons learned.
• Ensure effective handoff of deployed systems to support teams following go-live.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including support, development, sales, AE, and project management.

Technical Skills

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Windows Server fundamentals (2016–2022).
• SQL Server / PostgreSQL basics.
• Networking fundamentals.
• Experience with enterprise software systems (MES or industrial systems preferred).

Professional Skills

• Strong troubleshooting mindset and problem-solving capabilities.
• Clear communication with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Ownership and accountability for project delivery and outcomes.
• Ability to work under pressure in customer-facing environments.

Education & Experience

• Degree in engineering, IT, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in implementation, technical support, or IT systems roles.
• Experience with database-driven systems (e.g., SQL Server) preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or ophthalmic environments preferred.
