Insurance Manager

Responsibilities

• Studies and quotations (health insurance and income protection)
• Review comparative studies between partner insurers produced by the Madagascar team
• Formalize recommendations and the duty to advise
• Answer technical questions from Sales and support them on complex cases
• Respond to questions from the Madagascar team for Intercom management and internal Dougs recommendations
• Manage the insurance-related mailboxes (formalities and insurance) on Intercom
• Monitor policy subscriptions and contract administration (back-up for the Madagascar team)
• Handle endorsements, modifications and cancellations
• Monitor claims and manage relationships with insurers
• Ensure regulatory compliance of files (IDD, duty to advise, traceability)
• Support Julien in the daily management of the admin team
• Track production KPIs and the quality of processed files
• Train the team on product updates and new procedures
• Provide full backup in case of Julien's absence
• Maintain and develop relationships with our partner insurers
• Monitor product and regulatory developments (health, income protection, taxation)
• Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes
• Conduct client meetings to sell our offers to Dougs Accounting clients

Requirements

• Bac to Bac+2 level training in insurance or management
• 1 to 3 years minimum experience in personal lines insurance (health insurance and/or income protection), preferably in a brokerage firm
• Solid knowledge of health and income protection contracts (Madelin law, Article 83, group contracts)
• Good understanding of regulatory obligations (IDD, ACPR requirements, GDPR)
• Comfortable with digital tools: CRM, insurer extranets, collaborative suites
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, with a strong compliance mindset
• Autonomous with the ability to manage multiple files in parallel
• Pedagogical with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working with a remote team (Madagascar)
• Strong interpersonal and commercial skills
