Instrumentation Supervisor

For our EPC project “Centrale à moteurs Corse du Sud” we are looking for an Instrumentation Supervisor . The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate instrumentation construction activities on site, ensuring that installation works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, drawings, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate instrumentation construction activities on site, from material receipt through completion of installation and erection activities.
• Coordinate foremen, workers, subcontractors, and direct-hire personnel to ensure the proper execution of assigned activities.
• Organize daily activities and manpower allocation in line with construction priorities and short-term schedules.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, Quality, Security, and Company standards, including site safety plans, permit-to-work requirements, and stop-work procedures.
• Verify that personnel have the required certifications and training to perform their assigned activities.
• Ensure that tools, equipment, and materials are available and suitable for the execution of the works.
• Coordinate with Material Control and QA/QC teams to ensure the timely availability, inspection, and certification of materials and installation activities.
• Supervise the transportation, handling, and handover of instrumentation materials to the construction teams.
• Verify site readiness and coordinate with other disciplines to identify and resolve interferences affecting instrumentation activities.
• Supervise the installation and calibration of instrumentation devices and equipment in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Monitor construction progress, manpower, equipment, and tools, providing regular reports to the Instrumentation Superintendent.
• Coordinate with other discipline supervisors to ensure efficient execution and avoid worksite interferences and delays.
• Collaborate with the Instrumentation Superintendent to identify and resolve technical and construction issues on site.
• Support testing activities, punch list closure, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure proper documentation and certification of completed works in coordination with QA/QC and the Instrumentation Superintendent.
• Support the development and monitoring of short-term look-ahead schedules.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Instrumentation Construction on Oil & Gas, Energy, EPC, industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Solid experience supervising instrumentation installation and construction activities on site.
• Experience coordinating foremen, subcontractors, and construction teams.
• Good knowledge of instrumentation installation, calibration, testing, and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction procedures.
• Good understanding of HSE and Quality requirements in construction environments.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary project environments.
• Good knowledge of English and French.
• Willingness to work in a site-based environment and on international projects.
