Within our Installation department, we need an Installation Engineer to support European regions. The iTeam (Installation team) is responsible for installing semiconductor production equipment across the European region (mainly in Germany, Ireland, France and Italy). - Follow all checklists and procedures and ensure correct schematics are available prior to performing work.
- Test equipment with assistance from senior engineers, existing documentation and diagnostic techniques.
- Respond to factory issues by communicating with other engineers and participating in escalation conference calls.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce installation cycle time and costs.
- Provide accurate reporting of status, hours worked and non‑conformances.
- Adhere to the security policy and quality standards of Applied Materials and its customers.

- Bachelor or Master degree with technical background (mechanical assembly, equipment installation, maintenance, mechatronics, electronics, electrical, mechanical, or similar).
- Position open to junior profiles.
- Troubleshooting skills to solve mechanical and electrical issues during system installation.
- Ability to communicate daily pass‑downs and equipment status reports.
- Project management skills to control installation projects within budget, timeline and quality requirements.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
