ROLE: Inside Sales Specialist – EMEA. LOCATION: France – Office.

Overview

We are searching for inquisitive, imaginative thinkers and solution finders who are irresistibly drawn to hard problems. The role is to support our EMEA (primarily France) marketing and sales operations by qualifying and progressing leads, preparing budgetary quotations, nurturing prospects until they are sales‑ready, and performing administrative tasks to ensure smooth business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify all incoming leads and distribute them to the designated Account Manager within the territory.
  • Become an expert in Salesforce and other tools that increase sales effectiveness.
  • Embrace new sales strategies and techniques when instructed.
  • Be proficient in the features, benefits, specifications, and value propositions of Malvern Panalytical’s technical products to converse at the appropriate level with scientists, engineers, and academics.
  • Maintain long‑term relationships with existing customers and acquire new customers in the main areas of particle characterization: laser diffraction, dynamic light scattering, image analysis, micro‑calorimetry, XRF, XRD, NIR, and contract analysis services.
  • Provide additional support to the full EMEA Inside Sales team as required.
  • Perform within established standards and metrics for the Inside Sales team to ensure targets are met or exceeded.

Qualifications

  • Commercially savvy individual with a high sense of urgency and willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Excellent verbal, listening, and questioning skills, and a solid understanding of our products and their application in industrial and academic environments.
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or higher; or equivalent combination of education and experience in general Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, and Materials Science.
  • Two to four years of related sales or application experience and/or training.
  • Fluent in written and spoken French.
  • Self‑motivation and ambition to grow in the role (desired).
  • Full understanding of the technologies offered by Malvern Panalytical and ability to relate them to potential customers’ proposed applications (desirable).
