Innovation Consultant - R&D Tax Incentives & Grants

We are looking for a Senior Innovation Consultant to join our team in Lyon and work with industrial clients on a wide range of funding opportunities, including R&D tax incentives and public grants .

Your mission
You will support innovative companies in identifying, structuring, and securing funding for their R&D activities. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will contribute to building strong client relationships and supporting business growth.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage a portfolio of industrial clients
- Analyze their projects and identify relevant funding opportunities
- Interact directly with clients to collect and challenge technical information
- Prepare and structure high-quality technical and financial documentation
- Advise clients on their innovation funding strategy
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks
- Identify new business opportunities within your client portfolio
- Collaborate with internal teams on complex projects
What we’re looking for
- Around 4–6 years of experience in innovation funding, R&D tax credit, or grants
- Strong experience in writing and structuring funding applications
- Background in engineering, industry, energy, chemistry, or similar
- Experience working with industrial clients
- A client-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Fluent French (mandatory) and professional English (B2+)
Experience with CIR/CII is a strong advantage, but we are open to candidates with broader funding experience.
