Position Summary
The Innovation & Commercialization Specialist works closely with the Filorga Innovation & Commercialization Senior Manager and the Master Data Analyst. The role manages all trade plan projects, marketing grid launches and renovations, as well as formula and packaging changes driven by marketing or regulatory requirements. The specialist coordinates marketing brief assessments and validations, designs project timelines, and serves as the main internal and external project coordinator. Regular meetings are held with Marketing, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Legal, Supply Chain, and external manufacturers to ensure timely delivery and cost alignment with marketing briefs. The role also handles cost consolidation, profit margin scenarios, and procurement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods for launches.
Responsibilities
- Manage all trade plan projects, marketing grid launches/renovations, and formula and packaging changes to ensure smooth manufacturing and timely supply.
- Provide detailed project management support for assignments that require it.
- Facilitate marketing brief assessment and validation across Smartsheet.
- Create and maintain project timelines in Smartsheet, updating as needed.
- Coordinate and lead internal and external project follow‑up meetings, highlighting critical next steps.
- Anticipate potential problems and generate alternative solutions.
- Report warnings or issues (timing, price, technical) to the Senior Manager and, if needed, to top management with an action plan.
- Collaborate with Procurement to negotiate costs of new products and ensure alignment with cost targets.
- Establish margin scenarios with Marketing and Finance.
- Ensure packaging components meet sustainability standards for new innovation projects.
- Place orders for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods required for launches.
- Develop and implement contingency plans for supply‑chain disruptions.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 4 years of project management experience in skincare, preferably in product development.
- Mastery of Smartsheet.
- Fluency in French (required).
- Professional level of English.
