Position Summary
The Innovation & Commercialization Specialist collaborates closely with the Filorga Innovation & Commercialization Senior Manager, the Master Data Analyst, and cross‑functional teams. The role coordinates trade plan projects, marketing grid launches, and product life‑cycle changes, serving as the internal and external project manager for initiatives that span marketing, R&D, quality, regulatory, legal, and supply‑chain functions.
Responsibilities
- Manages all trade plan projects and marketing grid launches/renovations, ensuring smooth manufacturing startup and timely supply of goods.
- Provides detailed project management support for any initiative requiring it.
- Facilitates marketing brief assessment and validation using Smartsheet.
- Creates and maintains project timelines in Smartsheet, updating them with recent changes.
- Coordinates and leads regular internal and external follow‑up meetings, outlining clear action plans and identifying critical next steps.
- Anticipates potential problems and generates alternatives for problem resolution.
- Reports warnings or issues—such as timing, pricing, or technical problems—to the Senior Manager and raises them to top management when necessary.
- Works with procurement to negotiate costs with external manufacturers, aligning with marketing cost targets.
- Establishes margin scenarios with marketing and finance teams.
- Ensures packaging components of new innovation projects meet sustainability standards.
- Places orders for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods for launches only.
- Develops and implements contingency plans for catastrophic events that disrupt the supply chain.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of project management experience in skincare, with product development knowledge.
- Proficiency in Smartsheet.
- Fluency in French.
- Professional level of English.
