Overview

AirLiquideMedicalSystems is a subsidiary of AirLiquideHealthcare dedicated to medical devices. The company develops, manufactures and sells innovative products in ventilation, medical gases and aerosol therapy.

Location

Based in Pau, France, the role is part of the Eove subsidiary of AirLiquideMedicalSystems.

Responsibilities

• Elaborate test protocols derived from specifications and risk analysis.
• Conduct and analyze manual test campaigns.
• Implement automated test procedures.
• Develop and evolve testing tools.
• Write documentation required for maintaining medical device certification, such as Design History File and requirements traceability.
• Transfer R&D deliverables to methods, production and quality teams.
• Optimize software quality and development processes.
• Optionally lead projects: coordinate a multidisciplinary expert team, organize and lead development stages (design reviews, lab tests, clinical trials).
• Participate in quality audits (internal and notified bodies).

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (or equivalent Bac+5).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles and environments.
• Technical skills: reading functional schematics, understanding embedded software in C, configuration and bug tracking tools (e.g., GitHub), knowledge of electro‑technical components (solenoids, turbines, valves). Knowledge of ISO13485 and IEC62304 is desirable.
• Personal qualities: teamwork, engagement, rigor, respect, innovation; proactive, autonomous, organised, adaptable; strong communication; intermediate English; comfortable with IT.
• The role is suitable for engineers and highly experienced technicians.
