Teledyne e2v Semiconductors SAS, located in Saint‑Egrève near Grenoble, has been a specialist in semiconductor technology for more than 70 years. We produce high‑speed data converters, CMOS image sensors, cameras and complete modules for demanding markets such as space, medical, defense and industrial vision.

About the Site

The site hosts 400 collaborators and brings together research & development teams, production workshops and support services for two main activity areas:

• Machine Vision Sensors for image sensors, dental sensors, and cameras.
• Semiconductors for microprocessors and high‑speed data converters.

Our engineering teams work in an environment that balances 70 % R&D and 30 % production support, delivering innovative solutions in stringent conditions.

Position: Ingénieur Test – Projets R&D

This role focuses on test strategy and development for R&D products, with a strong emphasis on quality and performance assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Define test strategy and develop test programs and tools for products in R&D, in close collaboration with design and test characterization teams.
• Ensure correct integration of test programs on various test platforms and qualify test coverage for each product.
• Provide expertise on industrial test equipment, both automated and manual, for high‑performance data converters.
• Act as a level‑2 specialist to guarantee availability of test resources, resolve technical issues and contribute to continuous process improvement in partnership with product owners, production, industrialization and quality teams.
• Participate in test data handling, analysis and documentation throughout development phases until production handover.
• Support the qualification of new equipment and processes and maintain technical documentation.
• Train and assist production/maintenance teams on test tools and methods.
• Collaborate with quality and industrialization teams for flow optimization.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background with a team‑oriented, solution‑driven mindset.
• Proficiency in LabVIEW and TestStand, ideally with NI certification.
• Experience programming measurement instruments such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, lab power supplies, HSDIO cards and high‑speed serial link cards. Familiarity with semiconductor test equipment (Prober, Handler) is required.
• In‑depth knowledge of data converter electronics, RF, FPGA and core microelectronics principles.
• Programming skills in Python, Matlab, IG‑XL or VBA are a plus.
• Significant experience with industrial test equipment such as ULTRAFLEX or STS is an advantage.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and production indicators (MSA, R&R, Cpk) is welcome.
• English written and spoken skills are essential for communication with subcontractors, suppliers and for technical documentation.
