INGENIEUR TECHNICO-COMMERCIAL(E) H/F SECTEUR Région Rhône-Alpes Sud est – Hach

At Hach, a global leader in water quality solutions, we are looking for an engineer technico-commercial to support our clients across the Rhône‑Alpes region. You will provide technical and innovative water analysis solutions, maintain and grow the existing client portfolio, and act as the key point of contact for customers on the ground.

Overview

Hach’s mission is to guarantee safe and sustainable water for people worldwide. The company values diversity, innovation, and the well‑being of its employees and the environment. As part of the Municipal Sales team, you will work primarily from home but will be based between Lyon and Valence.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop the existing client portfolio by providing technical, innovative solutions for water analysis.
  • Support customers on the ground, helping them address environmental challenges.
  • Use the CRM SalesForce to record visit reports, follow up on incoming requests, and coordinate with support services.
  • Collaborate closely with the Municipal Sales Manager and the broader commercial team.
  • Adopt a daily schedule that includes:
    • Monday: review opportunities, set 30/60/90‑day action plans, schedule client meetings.
    • Tuesday‑Friday morning: conduct 2‑3 technical visits, record outcomes, handle incoming demands.
    • Friday afternoon: participate in remote team meetings and close the week.

Qualifications

  • Higher education in a scientific or technical field (chemistry, physics, hydraulics, biology, electrical engineering, etc.).
  • Experience in selling solutions or services related to water quality analysis.
  • Commercial mindset with a proactive, entrepreneurial attitude.
  • Positive, performance‑driven spirit with a competitive edge.
  • Strong teamwork skills, excellent customer orientation, and meticulous follow‑up of dossiers.
  • Excellent telephone communication and organization.
