Job Overview

Orano Chimie Enrichissement (CE), a leading global player in uranium conversion and enrichment, seeks an Engineer Safety Operation (ISE) for continuous service at the Tricastin site. The ISE reports to the operational safety team and provides a safety interface with all operating units, especially outside daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to safety reference standards through regular internal controls across the site.
• Promote a culture of safety and security among operating teams.
• Prepare daily reporting on key safety events, including immediate capture of safety/secure events and coordination of corrective actions.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and crisis exercises.
• During off‑day hours, welcome and assist external organizations such as ASN, ASND safety authorities, etc.
• In crisis situations, make decisions to ensure immediate safety of personnel, environment, and assets.

Qualifications

• Engineer‑level degree or university qualification in Security, Safety, Health, Environment (3SE) or a related field.
• First experience in the industrial sector, preferably in nuclear safety or operations.
