Who we are
Avicenna.AI builds AI-powered solutions for medical imaging, designed for radiologists. Our products are deployed in healthcare institutions across Europe and the United States, with active FDA and CE regulatory filings. We're a tight-knit team that holds itself to a high standard ,technically and clinically.
The role
Reporting to the VP of Product, you own the full lifecycle of one or more software products. Your mission isn't to ship features, it's to make sure customers buy, deploy, and renew. Clinical and economic value is at the center of everything you do.
Your scope:
- Value proposition: define and prove, for each product, why a healthcare institution buys it and keeps it. Identify the economic buyer (radiology group, hospital, imaging center), their problem, and the return they get. Translate clinical performance into concrete value: read time, throughput, worklist prioritization, reduction in missed findings, turnaround time, and where it exists, reimbursement leverage.
- Evidence and usage data: instrument and document value with clinical and real-world data that sustains the commercial promise and defends the product over time.
- Product specifications: gather field requirements, prioritize features with R&D based on their contribution to adoption and sales, within the regulatory framework of the device (intended use, clinical evaluation, software lifecycle).
- Positioning and sales enablement: build buyer-centric personas, quantified value arguments, and materials that help sales close. Clinical champions and KOLs are mobilized as sources of evidence and credibility in service of the sale, not as roadmap owners.
- Value loop: analyze real-world usage, adoption, and renewal patterns; feed backlog priorities accordingly.
- Development tracking: day-to-day R&D collaboration, product rituals, deliverable validation.
What we're looking for
- At least 3 years of product management experience in medtech or healthtech, on products that have been sold and deployed, not just specified.
- Strong commercial sensibility: comfortable with ROI reasoning, health economics, and the institutional buying decision.
- Solid clinical grounding in imaging, or a demonstrated ability to get up to speed quickly.
- Ability to move between analytical mode (market, data, quantified value) and narrative mode (positioning, pitch).
- Understanding of the SaMD regulatory framework (MDR, FDA) as a design constraint, not a side topic.
- Fluent English required (US market and clinical contacts, international partners).
