Airbus Commercial Aircraft – Avionics Software Tools Engineer (f/m)

We are looking for an Avionics Software Tools Engineer (f/m) to join the Software process and Methods & Tools team based in Toulouse, France.

Responsibilities

  • Study, develop, qualify, and deploy qualified methods and tools for the safety‑critical avionics software factory.
  • Provide technical support and user training to internal engineering teams using the software production environment.
  • Perform and coordinate static program analysis while automating and optimizing software development phases.
  • Analyze customer requirements and challenge needs to propose shared, automated, and reusable software components.
  • Manage subcontracting activities and drive external contributions within an agile and dynamic organisation.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Aerospace Systems.
  • Professional experience in real‑time embedded software development under certification standards (DO178, DO330, DAL A to D).
  • Technical expertise in static analysis, formal methods, programming languages (C/C++, Python), and operating systems (Linux, Windows).
  • Advanced level of both English and French is required.
