The second is its participation in the RSSOM (Rolling Stock Systems Operation and Maintenance) package for the same metro line, which covers the design, construction, and maintenance of the trains and associated systems.

NGE subsidiary in Colombia, located in Bogota, opened in early 2023 and is specialised in project engineering. It is one NGE’s engineering department continental hubs, which supports the NGE Group activities and especially those in Latin America.

NGE opened its railway subsidiary TSO in 1987 to work in close cooperation with the ENR (Egyptian National Railways) and to develop rail transport, a sustainable mobility solution, across the country.Our rail experts work on several construction and maintenance projects, on various types of networks: metro, conventional and high-speed lines.

In Egypt, the Group took part in the Banha-Port Saïd line upgrade in the north of the country, the construction of Cairo metro lines 1 and 3 and of the LRT 10th of Ramadan.NGE is also the first company to lay the tracks of the future Egyptian High-Speed network, with the construction of 330 km on the Green Line.

Estonie

NGE, through its subsidiary TSO, has been present in Estonia since 2025 with a major contract for Rail Baltica, the European railway corridor linking the Baltic countries to the trans-European transport network. Awarded by Rail Baltic Estonia OÜ, this project is part of a partnership involving several European companies. It covers the design and construction of a 150 km section between Tallinn Ülemiste and the Pärnu freight terminal. The works include the entire railway superstructure (earthworks, civil engineering, and track laying), as well as the railway infrastructure between Tootsi and Pärnu, which involves the construction of railway bridges, noise barriers, eco-bridges, underpasses, and access and maintenance roads. This contract strengthens NGE’s presence in Europe and further confirms its expertise in large-scale railway projects at an international level.

In 2021, NGE opened a subsidiary in Germany dedicated to the construction and maintenance of fibre optic networks.In Germany, NGE is mainly involved in projects for municipalities or internet providers within the Bade-Wurtemberg region, in the country’s southwest.

In 2016, NGE opened a subsidiary in Côte d’Ivoire with a Multi-expertise vocation. The teams originally started on earthwork projects.

The subsidiary has been developing and diversifying its activities by taking part in essential infrastructures projects for the country as the construction of a sanitation network in Abidjan, the creation of a road in Daloa, the rehabilitation of dams and the construction of water towers.

NGE opened its railway subsidiary TSO in Mexico in 2014 to take part in the development of sustainable mobility in the country. NGE Morocco is the first Multiexpertise subsidiary outside of France, opened in 1990. Originally known as Générale Routière , the subsidiary was mainly involved in road infrastructure projects accross the country.

NGE is operating in Panama since 2014 through its subsidiary TCP Rail Inc., a joint-venture between TSO, NGE’s railway subsidiary, and CIM (Compagnie Internationale de Maintenance).

The teams work on the construction and maintenance of lines 1 and 2 of the Panama metro and their respective extensions.

Present in Paraguay since 2016, the Saceem Group began its activities with the construction of several bridges, marking the start of its development in the country.

Present in Peru since 2017, the Saceem Group has been expanding its activities in the building and civil works sectors through large-scale projects for both public and private clients.

In 2007, NGE opened its TSO railway subsidiary in Saudi Arabia, to take part in railways projects, to develop sustainable mobility solutions accross the country.

TSO’s flagship projects are the construction of the CTW100 line, a 730+ km rail line which connects the north and the south of the country and its 110 km-long expansion to the west: the CTW120 project.

Since 2017, NGE is involved in Senegal with its TSO rail subsidiary. The company started on the Dakar TER Regional Express Line project: the reconstruction of an historic rail freight line.

Since then, the subsidiary diversified its activities and expanded their Multiexpertise offer to earthworks and civil engineering e.g upgrading project in the Dakar and Ziguinchor harbours, two main hubs in the country, pipelines works with the construction of 5 treatment plants in 5 cities in the east side of the country and keeps delivering rail projets with, e.g maintenance works on the Dakar TER Regional Express Line.

NGE, through its TSO subsidiary, has been present in Sweden since 2024, with a major project in Gothenburg: the West Link (Västlänken). This project involves the construction of railway systems for Phase 1 of the works on the new connection linking Gothenburg city centre. It is being carried out on behalf of the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket). This phase includes the construction of 7 km of railway systems, encompassing track, overhead contact line systems, high and low voltage power systems, telecommunications, and signalling, as well as connection works between the new line and the existing railway network.

NGE began its activity in Uruguay in 2018 with the Ferrocarril Central project, a 264km railway line connecting the UPM cellulose plant in Pasos de Los Toros to the Montevideo harbour. In this PPP (Public-Private Partnership), NGE took part in both the funding, with its subsidiary NGE CONCESSIONS and the construction of this major infrastructure project, involving many expertise of the Group such as earthworks, roads and utilities and railway. NGE’s presence in Uruguay demonstrates the Group’s capability to deliver large-scale projects to support sustainable mobility. It is NGE’s first public-private partnership outside of France.
