Job Description

Senior Subsea Installation Methods Engineer capable of performing the activities described in this specification. The role requires autonomy, strong technical expertise, and close coordination with multidisciplinary teams throughout subsea project development.

Responsibilities

• Technical documentation development : Prepare all technical documentation required for the offshore installation of subsea structures, ensuring compliance with client specifications, vessel and barge constraints, and on‑site feasibility.
• Installation scope coverage : Contribute to engineering studies covering:
  • Pipelines (J‑lay and S‑lay)
  • Single and multiple risers
  • Spools and jumpers
  • Subsea structures
  • Flexibles and umbilicals
  • Floating units (FPSO), mooring systems, buoys, and offloading lines
• Autonomous project execution : Deliver installation‑related engineering tasks independently, under the supervision of the Project Lead and in interface with other disciplines.
• Cross‑discipline collaboration : Work closely with structural, pipeline, installation, procurement, and estimation teams to ensure coherent and safe installation methodologies.

Requirements

• Ability to prepare high‑quality installation documentation aligned with client requirements and offshore constraints.
• Strong understanding of subsea installation operations across pipelines, risers, structures, flexibles, umbilicals, and floating systems.
• Capacity to work autonomously while coordinating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Solid experience in Oil & Gas subsea engineering and installation methods.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, contractual requirements, and project documentation.

Offshore Requirements

• BOSIET + CA‑EBS mandatory (OPITO‑certified)
• MFC : Medical Fitness Certificate mandatory (OGUK‑certified)
• Professional English proficiency : Fluent written and spoken English.
