MISSIONS
The mission consists in delivering subsea installation methods engineering services within a project environment, ensuring the preparation of all required offshore installation documentation.
It covers pipelines, risers, spools, jumpers, subsea structures, flexibles, umbilicals and floating systems, in line with client specifications and vessel constraints.
The engineer works autonomously while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to define safe and feasible installation methodologies.
The role includes contributing to engineering studies, supporting preparation phases and offshore campaigns, and participating in technical reviews.
Requirements
- Subsea installation expertise : Extensive experience in subsea installation engineering within the Oil & Gas sector, covering pipelines (J‑lay/S‑lay), risers, spools, jumpers, subsea structures, flexibles, umbilicals, and floating systems such as FPSOs, mooring lines, buoys, and offloading systems.
- Technical documentation : Ability to produce high‑quality offshore installation documentation that meets client specifications, vessel and barge constraints, and on‑site feasibility requirements.
- Autonomy & coordination : Proven capacity to work independently while effectively interfacing with multidisciplinary teams (structures, pipelines, installation, procurement, estimation).
- Technical interpretation : Strong ability to analyze and interpret technical specifications, contractual requirements, and project documentation.
Offshore Requirements
- BOSIET + CA‑EBS (OPITO‑certified) : Mandatory for offshore deployment.
- MFC – Medical Fitness Certificate (OGUK‑certified) : Mandatory for offshore deployment.
- English : Fluent written and spoken English.
