Skynopy is providing a unique connectivity service for satellite operators through a world wide network of ground stations (antennas) and with an end-to-end connectivity kit approach.

It is serving the booming Low Earth Orbit space industry composed of earth observation satellites and constellations, telecommunications providers and in orbit services players. Founded in October 2023 by two former Loft Orbital directors, Skynopy has the support of renowned advisors. We are now seeking for talents to grow our team and develop our unique services for a competitive space industry.

### Job Description and Responsibilities

As a key member of our team and among the first employees, you will work on the integration of a satellite radio equipment with ground station infrastructure. Here's a breakdown of the tasks you could be involved in:

1. **Integration**: Perform the integration of satellite radio equipment, working closely with ground station components, including downconverters, digitizers, and software modems.

2. **Software Development**: Contribute to the development of software that commands and controls radio equipment, facilitating efficient hardware in the loop testing.

3. **Test-bed Solutions**: Design, implement, and maintain measurement tools and test-bed solutions, ensuring comprehensive validation of link/ modem functionalities.

4. **Custom Signal Processing**: Implement custom signal processing chains to meet the unique needs of satellite customers.

5. **Signal Monitoring and Troubleshooting**: Monitor and troubleshoot analog IF signals, digital

IF signals, and baseband packets with precision

### Qualifications

### *Nice to Haves*

- **Communication Experience**: understanding of RF communications, digital signal processing(DSP), and various protocols, as well as proficiency in digital modulation and coding techniques.

- **Modem Configuration**: Demonstrate hands-on knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting communication modems.

- **Test Equipment Proficiency**: Utilize knowledge of and experience with test equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and RF test equipment.

- **Scripting Language Skills**: Proficient in a scripting language, with a preference for Python, to facilitate seamless automation.

- **Mindset** : a positive and solution-oriented mindset

- **Collaboration skills**: Excellent documentation skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary environments. Your contribution will be pivotal in driving the success of our satellite communication initiatives.

- **Software Radio Protocols**: Familiarity with software radio transport protocols such as VITA-49, for both Dig

IF and baseband signals.

- **GNU Radio Expertise**: Experience in GNU radio processing chain development, including the creation of custom Out-of-Tree (OOT) blocks.

- **SDR and FPGA Knowledge**: A plus if you possess knowledge in software-defined radio (SDR) and FPGA coding, enabling the development of advanced testing equipment like high-speed data generators
