Rives & Eaux du Sud-Ouest, issue of the evolution of the CACG (Compagnie d’Aménagement des Coteaux de Gascogne) in June 2024, is an enterprise specialized in the design and securing of hydraulic structures, aiming to ensure a sustainable sharing of water resources.

Mission

Proactive and rigorous, you will take charge of projects in water and renewable energy domains. As a geotechnical specialist, you will collaborate in multidisciplinary engineering teams, actively contributing to various stages of development projects (reservoirs, storage, dams, canals, fluvial works and navigation).

  • Expertise existing structures or sites (inspection, instrumentation-auscultation, diagnostics, preliminary studies, technical inspection); manage contractors or subcontractors in geotechnics, geophysics, hydraulic structure camera inspections, diving and ropework inspections, and providers for surveys, laboratory tests, topography, structural diagnostics of civil engineering works.
  • Study, design geotechnical works, and propose reinforcement, repair, or rehabilitation solutions; develop and monitor geotechnical investigation programs.
  • Prepare geotechnical study files at AVP or PRO level for new or rehabilitation projects.
  • Translate technical choices into consulting dossiers for contractors, especially for the geotechnical aspect, respecting regulatory and cost constraints.
  • Ensure execution control of projects with a strong geotechnical component, as a project team member.
  • Conduct studies on dam safety: comprehensive diagnosis, safety diagnosis, hazard studies.
  • Take charge of monitoring a park of more than 100 works with the dedicated team: written instructions, detailed technical visits, monitoring reports, and coordination with state services (DREAL, DDT).
  • Participate in commercial activities (drafting and quoting offers, client follow‑up).

Qualifications

Graduated from an engineering school with a specialization in geotechnical engineering (Polytech’Grenoble, ENSIP, ENSG, INSA, ENPC, ENSAM, ESTP or equivalent).

Minimum 2 years of experience in hydraulic structure engineering, having achieved a certain level of autonomy.

  • Good practice with geotechnical calculation software and hydro‑geomechanics modeling tools (Talren, Plaxis or GeoStudio).
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks for hydraulic structure safety (orders, decrees).
  • Strong listening and interpersonal skills, capable of working in multidisciplinary teams and supporting clients in their projects.
  • Excellent writing and synthesis capabilities.
  • Early‑career candidates without hydro‑infrastructure references are also considered.

Context

Based in Tarbes or Toulouse, you will frequently travel across France (Occitanie, Nouvelle‑Aquitaine) and abroad.

Contract & Remuneration

Permanent contract (CDI). Salary according to training and experience, 13th month, flexible hours, remote work, 46 days of paid leave, vacation vouchers, CET, PEE, and PERCO.
