Ingénieur essais haute tension - high voltage test engineer H/F

Position : Electrical Test Engineer (Ingénieur essais électrique)

Responsibilities

• Secure testing operations on Medium and High Voltage installations up to 15 kV
• Guarantee test quality, traceability and compliance
• Directly contribute to customer satisfaction on critical projects (data centers, sensitive infrastructure, backup power systems)
• Drive continuous improvement of test methods, procedures and standards
• Support the Test Bench Manager and act as a trusted technical referent for the team
• Supervise, organise and perform functional, performance and compliance tests
• Operate R / L / C load banks and conduct MV/HV testing
• Adapt test activities to customer specifications and regulatory requirements
• Ensure strict compliance with procedures, safety rules and quality standards
• Intervene on electrical systems, alternators, AVR and regulation systems
• Support engine settings and diagnostics during test phases
• Provide technical support to the team and act as deputy to the Test Bench Manager when required

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong technical expertise in generator sets and test bench operations
• Comfortable working in demanding industrial environments with high safety requirements
• Natural technical leadership and field-oriented mindset
• Hands‑on profile with the ability to combine execution and technical oversight
• Autonomous, reliable and results-oriented
• Operational technical English
