LV/MV Electrical Engineer – Ref. JOB-1580

SUMMARY

We are looking for an LV/MV Electrical Engineer to work on industrial gas projects within demanding technical environments. The role involves carrying out studies, design, and monitoring of LV/MV electrical installations while ensuring the compliance, reliability, and performance of electrical equipment. The position is based in the Paris region.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, review, and validate electrical diagrams and specifications for LV/MV electrical equipment (switchboards, transformers, motors, cables, UPS systems, battery chargers, capacitor banks, etc).
• Produce and verify single-line diagrams and associated consumer lists.
• Perform the electrical calculations required for projects (load flow analysis, short-circuit calculations, network studies).
• Define technical specifications for electrical equipment and participate in supplier consultations.
• Supervise and coordinate outsourced electrical engineering studies and ensure their technical compliance.
• Participate in technical bid evaluations and comparisons of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines to ensure overall project consistency.
• Manage the master file and drawing register in collaboration with the Lead Electrical Engineer.
• Receive electrical equipment and ensure associated technical follow-up.
• Support installation and commissioning teams in accordance with engineering department procedures.
• Participate in the review of all project electrical drawings and diagrams within the defined scope.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar LV/MV electrical engineering role.
• Experience on large-scale industrial or energy projects, ideally within petrochemical environments.
• Strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical studies.
• Proficiency in electrical calculation software tools.
• Good knowledge of industrial electrical equipment and related design standards.

• Good knowledge of applicable standards, regulations, and directives.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary, multicultural and project-based environments.
• Rigorous, autonomous and good interpersonal skills.
• Professional level of French required.
