Description: We are looking for an EIA Engineer – Electrical‑focused to work on petrochemical projects. You will contribute to projects from the FEED phases through to EPC , working closely with multidisciplinary teams (process, civil engineering, mechanical, HSE…). You will be responsible for engineering studies and the supervision of Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation packages, with strong specialization in electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform EIA engineering studies (Conceptual/APS, Basic/APD, FEED, and Detailed Design) for petrochemical facilities.
- Size and specify electrical equipment: LV/MV switchboards, transformers, UPS systems, motors, cables, earthing systems, protection schemes, etc.
- Develop electrical diagrams and calculation notes (LV/HV systems, load lists, selectivity studies, short‑circuit calculations).
- Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, and tender documentation.
- Participate in vendor selection and perform technical bid evaluations.
- Lead or carry out instrumentation studies (loop diagrams, instrument indexes, layout, wiring, technical notes).
- Contribute to automation studies: system architecture, interfaces, control logic (DCS/PLC/SCADA).
- Ensure site supervision: technical inspections, FAT/SAT, testing, commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with ATEX, IEC, API, ISA standards and client specifications.
- Coordinate activities with other disciplines (process, mechanical, civil engineering).
- Comply with QHSE requirements and participate in risk analyses (HAZOP, SIL).
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in EIA engineering on complex industrial projects.
- Experience in industrial projects within FEED or Detailed Design environments.
- Experience working in multi‑stakeholder environments (contractors, vendors, internal teams).
