Ingénieur(e) de Service Junior – Spectroscopie Atomique – Oise/Somme

Role Overview

As an Onsite Service Engineer at Agilent, you will work in client laboratories, installing, maintaining, and repairing our solutions. Your focus will be on atomic spectroscopy (ICP-MS, ICP-OES) and related products. You will apply your communication, creativity and proactivity skills and be committed to providing the highest level of service to ensure client success.

Responsibilities

• Install and optimize instruments and hardware configurations at client sites.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance issues.
• Perform maintenance and repairs.
• Inform customers about preventive maintenance and configuration changes that may affect performance.
• Proactively address potential equipment issues to prevent unexpected client activity interruptions.
• Ensure the implementation of client analytical methods.
• Train other field engineers and clients/users (classroom or on site).

Qualifications

• Recent university degree in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physical Measurements) or related field.
• Experience with atomic spectroscopy techniques (ICP-MS, ICP‑OES) as a user or technical support, or equivalent background.
• Good oral and written English.
• Autonomous, proactive, client‑oriented.
• Strong communication skills, ability to interact at different levels, teamwork and problem‑solving orientation.

Location and Travel

Based in the Oise or Somme, with regular travel mainly in Hauts‑de‑France and northern Île‑de‑France. A company vehicle will be provided.

Travel required: 100% of the time.

Full‑time schedule with the option to work remotely.

Pay ranges are determined by role, level and location; individual pay is influenced by experience, skills and education.
