Job Summary

ELCIA, a French software editor for carpentry professionals, seeks a Data Engineer to strengthen our Data team and support the development of business intelligence solutions for internal and client use.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal and client BI solutions on Microsoft Fabric, including data flows, data warehouses, and Power BI reports.
• Keep databases operational by optimizing Azure databases, defining backup, retention, and access policies, and managing FinOps costs.
• Collaborate closely with product squads to analyze and support developers on database structuring and new feature implementation.
• Deploy reports to industrial clients, handling bugs, operations and user feedback.
• Administer Fabric and Power BI environments (create dataflows, models, DAX KPIs, RLS, and apply DevSecOps practices).

Qualifications

• Bac+3 to Bac+5 in Data or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in developing decision‑making systems.
• Strong knowledge of data warehouse modeling and database design.
• Expertise in SQL, stored procedures, and database optimisation.
• Proficiency in Power BI and the MS Fabric ecosystem.
• Experience with Azure BI services (Data Factory, Data Lake, data warehouses).
• Familiarity with notebooks (Fabric, Databricks) and Python.
• Ability to iterate rapidly to deliver continuous value.
• Excellent technical analysis and development skills, including unit and integration testing, security, and process standardisation.
• Autonomy, initiative, and strong communication with key users.

• Annual base salary: €45 000‑€55 000.
