As a Senior Mechanical Engineer , youll be at the helm of technically complex, high‑value projects across France and mainland Europe , working with some of the most influential clients in the sector. Youll support the mechanical design and delivery of hyperscale and colocation data centres , ensuring resilience, efficiency, and compliance with French and European standards . From concept design through to commissioning, youll oversee every technical detail, manage client expectations, and guide multidisciplinary teams to success.

• Project Leadership: Own the mechanical scope of large‑scale data centre projects, managing design programmes, deliverables, and technical quality across multiple workstreams in France and Europe.
• Client Engagement: Act as the primary technical contact for clients, providing strategic input, design assurance, and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle.
• Design Excellence: Develop and review detailed mechanical designs including HVAC, chilled water systems, cooling plant, CRAC units, ventilation, and fire protection systems , ensuring alignment with Uptime Institute Tier standards, ASHRAE guidelines, and French regulations .
• Team Development: Mentor engineers, delegate responsibilities effectively, and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Cross‑Disciplinary Coordination: Work closely with electrical, structural, and architectural teams to ensure integrated design solutions that meet performance, sustainability, and cost objectives.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure all designs meet applicable French and European codes and standards , including NF, EN, ISO, RT/RE2020 requirements , and local authority regulations.
• Extensive experience in mechanical building services design , ideally within mission‑critical environments such as data centres, healthcare, or high‑tech industrial facilities.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and energy modelling .
• Familiarity with design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, IES VE, and CFD simulation software .
• Proven ability to lead complex consultancy projects and multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a client‑focused mindset , with the ability to interface confidently with international stakeholders.
