Permanent (CDI) – 35 hours per week
Salary
48 000 € to 55 000 € gross per annum, depending on experience
Travel
Occasional international travel required
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage all control system activities across the entire Power Generation command and control chain.
- Analyze engine and electrical test data to validate the proper operation of the system.
- Participate in the definition and validation of new products offered to customers.
- Work closely with the Headquarters on the use, validation, and deployment of approved software and calibrations.
- Assess installation compliance to ensure the engine operates under nominal conditions, including mechanical aspects.
- Ensure the integration and validation of communications between Engine Control Units (ECUs), generator set controllers, and customer supervisory systems.
- Analyze and validate engine monitoring interfaces, including alarms, protections, performance parameters, diagnostics, and telemetry functions.
- Contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of Power Generation control system architectures.
Qualifications
- Holder of a BTS, DUT, BUT, Engineering Degree or equivalent in Engine Technology, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, Power Generation or a related field.
- Proven experience in a technical industrial environment, ideally within the generator set, power generation, industrial engine, marine or automotive sectors.
- Strong technical background combining engine mechanics, electrical systems and automation.
- Comfortable analyzing data generated from testing activities, monitoring systems and supervisory control platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Enjoys a role that combines field activities, testing, technical analysis and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Capable of understanding complex systems involving multiple interconnected components and their interactions.
- Demonstrates strong technical curiosity and the ability to quickly learn new tools, software and technologies.
- Recognized for a methodical approach, autonomy and strong analytical skills when solving technical challenges.
- Team-oriented and comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
