IT Operations Manager (Manufacturing Environment)

We are looking for an experienced IT Operations and Infrastructure Manager to lead technology operations and drive digital enablement across a growing, multi-site manufacturing business. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of IT systems while leading key initiatives in ERP modernisation, advanced analytics, and AI-driven automation to support business growth

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & Operations

• Oversee performance, security, and reliability of IT systems, networks, cloud environments, and end-user devices
• Manage daily IT operations and service desk performance in collaboration with the external support partner
• Ensure strong service delivery and adherence to IT standards and policies

Cybersecurity & Compliance

• Implement cybersecurity controls and frameworks to protect sensitive data
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and monitoring
• Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements

ERP System

• Lead ERP upgrades, migrations, or new implementations
• Partner with business functions to optimise and automate processes
• Manage vendors, consultants, and ensure strong user adoption through training and change management

Data Analytics & AI Enablement

• Build data models and pipelines for operational insight
• Develop dashboards (e.g., Power BI) across business functions
• Drive adoption of AI/ML and promote strong data governance

Digital Transformation

• Implement digital manufacturing solutions such as MES, IoT, and automation tools
• Evaluate emerging technologies to improve efficiency and scalability
• Develop a multi-year IT roadmap aligned with business growth
• Manage vendors, contracts, budgets, and procurement activities

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 5–10 years of IT experience, including leadership responsibilities
• Experience in manufacturing or multi-site environments preferred
• Strong ERP experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor, Epicor, QA
• Hands‑on experience with Power BI/Tableau, SQL, and cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure)
• Knowledge of AI/ML or automation tools is an advantage
