Information Systems Technical Analyst

Job Description

The Protiviti Americas Delivery Center is seeking Information Systems Technical Analysts to join our growing team. The ADC provides cost‑effective, tech‑enabled, and standardized services at scale, driving efficiency for our global clients.

As part of the ADC team, you will collaborate with professionals to deliver service excellence for our clients across Technology, Risk and Compliance, Internal Audit & Financial Advisory, and Business Performance Improvement. Typical day may involve research, development, maintenance, testing, validation, reporting, and other client‑driven activities.

What You’ll Focus On

• Develop understanding of business processes, technical skills, project requirements, and client business across industries.
• Assist in the implementation of IT systems, data migrations, and data analysis/visualization.
• Provide IT managed services to Protiviti clients, including custom configuration and application support.
• Support IT Audit practice in testing internal controls and segregation of duties.
• Foster and maintain internal and external network.
• Learn in-demand skills for configuration and application support of Microsoft Power Apps, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, and OneTrust.

Upon hire, you will receive comprehensive training. Day‑to‑day activities may include:

• Analysis
• Testing IT controls using pre‑defined instructions/guidance within recognized frameworks (e.g., Sarbanes‑Oxley, NIST CSF).
• Evaluating system configurations, security settings, and user roles.
• Assisting in data acquisition, migrations, visualizations, and interpretation.
• Reviewing and assessing data and transactional information for suspicious or unusual activities.
• Monitoring and investigating security, network, and application events.
• Reporting: preparing project status reports, summarizing work performed, detailed findings, and dashboards.
• Innovation and learning: identifying areas of interest (cybersecurity, accounting, privacy), completing trainings to expand knowledge and providing internal recommendations to improve service delivery (automation, standardization).

Your Educational & Professional Credentials

• Associate degree OR GED/high‑school diploma and at least 1 year of experience in a business process or technical field.
• Well‑versed in Microsoft Office suite especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
