Information Security Consultant

• Serve as an outsourced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for regional SMEs and mid-sized companies
• Define and support Information Systems Security governance
• Conduct information security discovery audits to identify key risks and perform a cross-functional review of the client’s practices
• Define a security strategy and action plan with monitoring indicators
• Draft information security governance documents, including Information Security Policies, IT charters, and data governance frameworks
• Lead the implementation of technical and organizational protection measures
• Conduct information systems security and data protection awareness campaigns
• Define security awareness and training programs
• Deliver training sessions
• Collaborate with the manager and subject-matter experts for support throughout assignments

Requirements

• Graduate of an engineering school or equivalent university-level program
• At least 3 years of experience in consulting or working for an end client
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent writing skills
• Good command of English is a plus
• Business travel to client sites across the country may be required, depending on the position or business needs
• Completion of a security clearance application for the protection of national defense secrets
