Industrialization/Process Development Engineer M/F (Ref:KzX7I)

An exciting opportunity to join our client's team at a leading international automotive supplier specializing in vehicle interior components and acoustic parts . We are looking for a Process Development/Industrialization Engineer M/F to join this organization.

Responsibilities

• Carry out or lead feasibility studies (FS) and time studies (TS).
• Participate in defining resources from the RFQ (Request For Quotation) phase with the client.
• Verify material/process compatibility, with R&D support if necessary.
• Write specifications to define production resource needs and ensure compliance with safety, production, maintenance, and quality requirements (SPMQ).
• Lead technical reviews conducted with suppliers, from launch to completion, to verify compliance with the specifications.
• Organize the implementation of production resources.
• Perform flow studies, plans, and preparation of areas.
• Receive resources from the supplier and then at the factory, managing the necessary human and material resources.
• Verify the capacity of resources to produce compliant parts (dimensions and capability) and at the expected rates.
• Ensure and monitor the start‑up of new resources until production goals are met.
• Participate in and lead projects to improve equipment productivity.

Requirements

• Master's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in industrialization or process development.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of Portuguese is an asset.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Rigor and technical precision to ensure compliance of processes and production means.
• Project and initiative spirit to lead the industrialization of new equipment.
• Good communication and collaboration with R&D, production, maintenance, and suppliers.
• Technical curiosity and a taste for innovation to propose continuous improvements.
• Availability for business travel in Europe and worldwide.
