Industrialization Engineer for calendaring and notching (F/M) / Ingénieur Industrialisation pou[...]

The Industrialization Engineer will be responsible for managing building interfaces before and during equipment installation, following equipment suppliers during installation and ramp-up, and having knowledge of the most impacting parameters on the process.

• Manage building interfaces before and during equipment installation
• Follow equipment suppliers during installation and ramp-up
• Put in place and follow indicators (technical losses, Overall Equipment Efficiency,…) on Chemical equipment, and ensure it is at Target
• Propose improvements to reach specifications or to be more stable (better yield)
• In case of deviation, participate on Problem Solving
• Identify any risk in terms of cost, quality, … in case of new product to be manufactured and anticipate these risks on the equipment itself and adapt process accordingly
• Agree with Engineering team from central, process parameters to be applied on equipment, in case of new products to be deployed on Mass Production
• Follow equipment updated designs in case of new products request such kinds of modification and to put in place these modifications
• Approve work instructions

From a technical point of view, the ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in lamination / calendering / notching processes and slitting processes and on parameters which impact the quality
• Experience in thin layers and or extrusion
• Knowledge on Spare parts

The required skills and qualifications include:

• Technical knowledge related to physical / mechanical processes, already working in mass production , as an Industrial position (knowledge on how equipment design, on Overall Equipment Efficiency)
• > 7 years of experience process engineering into winding/unwiding processes at 100m/min (Lithium Battery most preferred)
• Bachelor of Sciences in physics or mechanical processes
• English is mandatory
