Industrial Sales Representative-General Tool
Overview
Industrial Sales Representative sought to develop and maximize market share in the industrial and utility sectors for the assigned territory, district and/or region.
Responsibilities
- Develop assigned territory via prospecting, cold-calling, qualifying leads, following up on referrals, setting up appointments, and delivering sales presentations to maximize sales potential and Sunbelt’s reputation.
- Provide sales direction, motivation, and leadership for sales representatives in Sunbelt’s Specialty Businesses.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
- Complete administrative duties, including sales plans, sales reports, and daily call reports.
Qualifications
- Professional knowledge of new business development, product marketing and sales, including experience developing territory business plans.
- Ability to incorporate Sunbelt’s Specialty Businesses into presentations and solutions.
- High energy, entrepreneurial self-starter.
- Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills; territory management practices must be exceptional.
- Experience selling to all levels of management.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Physical demands: bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more; reasonable accommodations available.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering or related field is preferred but not required.
- 2 years of successful sales experience in industrial, manufacturing, power generation or maintenance fields; prior rental industry experience a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
Base Pay Range: $50,000.00 - 79,746.70
Total compensation includes base pay, company vehicle, and robust commission plan.
