Industrial Risk Engineer

• Support industrial clients in preventing and controlling risks associated with their facilities and processes in France and internationally
• Provide consulting services in accordance with ICPE regulations, particularly regarding accident risks
• Define regulatory requirements, conduct audits, provide compliance support, and prepare regulatory notification dossiers
• Conduct risk analyses using APR, HAZID, HAZOP, and ADR methodologies
• Prepare Seveso safety reports and studies for transport pipelines
• Model and map the effects of accident scenarios using PHAST, FLUMILOG, and QGIS
• Ensure regulatory compliance and the technical quality of deliverables
• Tailor reports for management, regulatory inspectors, and field teams
• Inform clients of errors, analyze their causes, and implement corrective actions
• Occasionally work at industrial client sites, for a maximum of 1-2 days per week

Requirements

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in Industrial Risk Management or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience (excluding internships and work-study programs) in a consulting or engineering firm specializing in industrial risks and ICPE regulations
• Proven expertise in safety studies and risk analyses
• Proficiency in APR, HAZID, HAZOP, and ADR methodologies
• Proficiency in PHAST, FLUMILOG, and QGIS
• Valid Category B driving licence required
• Strong technical writing skills and the ability to adapt reports to different audiences
• Ability to communicate modeling results clearly to non-technical clients
