Industrial Instrumentation and Digital Specialist
Contexte et environnement
Within OneTech, you will be one of the key contributors driving the acceleration of the Company’s digital ambition and strategic programs. The technical scope is deployment of data and digital solutions across all Exploration & Production (E&P), Refining & Chemicals (R&C), and Gas & Renewables Power (GRP) gas plant sites. You will support the Company’s digital transformation while ensuring cybersecurity and the integrity of control systems. You will work closely with EP, R&C and GRP hubs and sites, Project Managers, internal teams and support functions from OneTech Technology and IT, as well as external partners.
Activités
- Provide the necessary support and expertise across all stages of our assets lifecycle.
- Consolidate our technological know‑how, develop and maintain our Technical Referential for operating excellence.
- Innovate, develop and implement new technologies to fulfill the Company’s challenges—keeping a close control of costs, improving safety, integrity, monitoring, digitalisation, production and reducing our environmental footprint.
- Provide, through experience, expertise and know‑how, an independent and informed vision on complex technical subjects, identifying the most appropriate solutions.
- Participate in technological OT choices ensuring technical compliance and integration of Digital products and solutions such as Information, Advanced Process Control (APC) and Real Time Dynamic Optimisation (RTDO) into the Company’s industrial systems.
- Lead the OT/IT engineering with all DCS vendors, knowing key players among them.
- Ensure coordination of the department’s Strategic Research & Technology Program with stakeholders (OneTech lines, external partners, EPC contractors, sites, procurement, etc.).
- Ensure coordination of all OT modifications with branch sites as well as on green‑field projects.
- Define validation criteria, review technical documents (site assessment reports, technical dossiers, OT/IT interfaces) and challenge local integrators and partners on engineering quality and implementation.
- Bring expertise, skills and know‑how to provide an independent perspective on complex technical topics and identify optimal solutions.
- Share knowledge by mentoring and delivering training sessions; contribute to the qualification and deployment of new technical solutions.
- Develop and keep the technical reference framework up to date, taking into account lessons learned and the Company’s needs.
Profil du candidat
- Be degree‑qualified in engineering (MSc, BSc, BEng) with a minimum of 10–15 years’ experience in an engineering contractor, vendor or operational environment within automation, digitalisation, instrumentation, control and safety systems.
- Prior knowledge and experience in the Oil & Gas industry, offshore or onshore, and new renewable energies is an advantage.
- Leadership skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to coordinate activities between multiple teams.
- Problem‑solving orientation and strong listening skills.
- Proficient in English; fluency in French is beneficial.
